embarrassed

DSC00812
This whole "stop somewhere along the way to work to take a few pictures because it's too dark when I'm leaving home" thing is getting more embarrassing by the day. I prop my camera in my drunk so every time a car gets close, I go to my trunk and pretend I'm looking for something...except for on this day, a man parked his car a block away, got out, and just watched. Yep.

Embarrassing stories aside, I was really excited to wear my watch because I finally put a new band on it. I initially wanted a navy blue band, but those are surprisingly hard to find, so I settled on a dark brown band instead. I'm still going to be on the lookout for a navy band though to switch it up in the future.

  2. Oh I've had my fair share of that back in LA. But even now when I take my outfit photos at home I still get pretty embarrassed if my family catch me at it.

Love your blouse, by the way. The color is so pretty.

  4. WHAT A CREEPER! Who does that?! I honestly think I'd be less embarrassed if a stranger saw me than my neighbors, because neighbors I have to see every day! I know I should just get over it but I caaaaannnnnn't.

Love your belt. I mean LOOOOVVVEEEEE.

  9. Story of my life. Well, when I take outfit pictures that is because recently I've really been slacking in the photo department. I feel like I didn't used to be so paranoid about strangers staring, but lately I am TOTALLY self conscious. #FashionBloggerProblems.

    2. Seriously. This last week is the first time I've ventured outside my backyard to take pictures and I'm horrified. I mean, the whole "taking pictures of myself look at my outfit!" is weird enough...

  12. Haha oh man, blogging can be so embarrassing! I still get really awkward when someone walks past while we're taking photos, and I think I'd die if it was someone I knew haha. Good news is your outfit is totally worth it! Love that Equipment blouse, great find :)

  14. You're dedicated! I probably would have crawled in the trunk, haha. Seriously, a woman at Target got right up next to me as I was about to take a mirror pic last night and I ran away as fast as I could. Love your scarf and belt!

  15. You look amazing girl and I have no choice but to take my photos on my porch while it is dark out due to Indy being as dark as midnight at around 5:30pm. Luckily my porch light is very bright and lights me perfectly! I love your look here and you are making me want to buy jeans from AE again. I used to only wear AE jeans.

    1. It's been so dark here too - it's already dark at 4:15 when I'm walking out of work. Lucky for you that you have lights - I have no idea what I'm going to do in a few weeks when its completely dark both times.

  18. Ahh I love that outfit! I would have never thought to pair a silk shirt like that with a scarf but it looks great. Have you ever done a post on the different ways you tie/wear a scarf? I would love to see how you made it a circle scarf like that.
